Sales Engineer

NetSPI is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with the Account Executive team and play an instrumental role in accelerating our revenue growth with new and existing clients.  They will engage with the customer as the technical lead throughout the pre-sales evaluation cycle to ensure success.  The Sales Engineer will also be a product expert on NetSPI’s CorrelatedVM platform for delivering improved efficiency and significant effectiveness gains for client penetration testing / ethical hacking and red teams. The offering also includes deep manual application penetration testing services.

Primary Duties:

  • Partner with Account Executive team to drive sales of NetSPI solutions. This includes information security assessment, penetration testing, and CorrelatedVM platform.
  • Provide technical expertise and real-life experience as the product expert in creating solutions, designs, proof of concept, and implementation of NetSPI offerings.
  • Suggest creative alternatives to address or overcome technical challenges.

Additional Duties:

  • Attend industry related events – monthly (ISSA, OWASP, ISACA) and annually (Blackhat, RSA, etc.).
  • Track activity in NetSPI’s CRM/PSA software tool
  • Travel up to 30-40%
  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum of 4 years of Sales Engineer experience
  • Minimum of 7 years Information Security experience
  • Strong understanding of penetration testing, application security and vulnerability assessments


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience working for a security product and/or services organization
  • Infosec-specific certifications, including but not limited to: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CEPT, OSCP, CISA, CGEIT
  • Advisory experience (security program development, security program gap analysis)
