Senior Financial Analyst

NetSPI is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their rapidly growing team.  This role is responsible for executing the company’s financial planning and metric-based reporting with a strong focus on forecasting and analysis to drive visibility into revenue, expenses and functional operations. Ideally, this individual will evolve and assume additional responsibilities based on performance, ownership and ability to work cross-functionally.

Primary Duties:

  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to multiple department leaders for decision making purposes
  • Manage the development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including quarterly forecast updates
  • Develop and manage financial reporting package, including variance and performance analysis
  • Assess program performance and track the performance against program budgets
  • Implement and work with business intelligence tools and dashboard reports
  • Assist in development of Board and Executive level presentations on business results, performance analysis, financial models, forecasts and budgets, etc.
  • Assess strategic initiatives, including M&A transactions and capital allocation strategy
  • Assist with analysis and strategy of the company’s cost pools
  • Create, implement and maintain comprehensive FP&A processes to improve clarity and consistency
  • Collaborate with accounting team to build mapping, streamline/automate processes and reports
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or related field
  • 8+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting and modeling
  • Knowledge of accounting/finance multi-entity integration
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting, preferably in a software organization
  • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong and intuitive financial acumen with superb attention to detail
  • Highly-driven, self-motivated, and the ability to “wear multiple hats”
  • Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to be a team player

Preferences:

  • Experience with M&A integration
  • Experience in a technology organization, specifically software product organizations
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or related education/certification
