Program Manager - Information Security

NetSPI is seeking a Program Manager to join their team in the New York area.  This is an onsite client-facing role, responsible for the oversight of multiple clients’ vulnerability management programs through advancement of the NetSPI project portfolio and other ongoing customer initiatives.

The Program Manager will handle assigned client and company projects throughout the lifecycle from inception to completion, keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of statuses, risks, and issues involving the project portfolio. They will serve as an advisor to the client executive and technical teams, while providing key coordination of and communication to the NetSPI consulting teams.

This person will need to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment while delivering a technology solution to the market.

 

Primary duties:

  • Work with client executives, technical teams, and procurement personnel to ensure the timely execution of various project portfolio efforts, prioritizing multiple large enterprise testing events
  • Assist the NetSPI sales and consulting teams with the escalation of project issues, identification of opportunities for process improvement, and further development of the client relationship
  • Regularly conduct constructive meetings with client and project teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page
  • Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution between teams, and inform management of problems preventing goals from being met
  • Communicate client questions, roadblocks, successes with the sales and consulting teams
  • Monitor client vulnerability management program health and assess project plans for effectiveness and accuracy 
  • Assemble and share regular status updates with key personnel; report on project health, risks, issues, and areas needing assistance

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of technical project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience with vulnerability management programs
  • 5+ years of experience working with security technical teams
  • Experience in a client-facing consultative role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Business or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to details, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances
